Purpose

Promote the development of multicultural communities by providing grants to international exchange projects that can be expected to foster civil connections carried out by municipalities and international exchange organizations.

Projects eligible for grant funding

• Holding of overseas cultural lectures, exhibitions, speech contests, etc. to disseminate knowledge of overseas affairs
• Exchange meetings with international students, trainees, visiting delegation members, etc. from overseas; Acceptance of homestay
• Exchange meetings and language courses held for mutual understanding and friendship between prefectural residents and foreign residents
• Other programs that promote international exchange in the prefecture and are particularly important and serve as a model for other organizations.
